Diversity system fm multiplex broadcast receiver

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To accurately easily discriminate reception quality by selecting a reception system at the time of multiplex broadcast reception based on a correction state signal outputted from a code processing unit. CONSTITUTION:This receiver is provided with code processing means 2a, 2b correcting a code based on an error correction code in a multiplex signal in each reception system and outputting a correction state signal representing the correction state, and a control means 1 selecting a selective means 3 based on the correction state signal. A code processing unit 2 processes a received multiplex signal and applies code correction to a data code 22 by an error correction code 23 added to the multiplex signal itself and outputs the data code 22 to an SW 3 and outputs the correction state signal to an SW control circuit 1. Thus, the reception quality of the multiplex signal data is compared and discriminated accurately and the multiplex signal data with excellent received quality is selected.
