Electronic coin and positioning device therefor

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To accurately and surely position an electronic coin by providing magnetic substance sections for positioning arranged on the outer periphery of the coin and a contact section having an aperture larger than the width of an outside connecting terminal. CONSTITUTION:Magnetic metal sections 41-43 are provided to an electronic coin 40 and a stopper 51 constituted of positioning jigs 52 and 53 and magnets is provided to an electronic coin positioning device 50. Therefore, magnetic attracting forces are respectively produced between the section 41 and jig 52, section 43 and jig 53, and section 42 and stopper 51 and the coin 40 placed on the stopper 51 is positioned by the forces. Therefore, the electronic coin 40 can be positioned accurately and the leading end of a contact terminal 35 can be surely brought into contact with an outside connecting terminal 21 having a width of about 1mm only. Thus the reliability of the contact between the terminals 35 and 21 can be improved.
