Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To transmit a packet data and a stream data by using one LAN by providing a packet exchange type LAN connection part and a line exchange type LAN connection part. CONSTITUTION:A line exchange type LAN connection part 15, packet exchange type LAN connection part 4 and musical sound control data processing part 21 process a sound control data DR to be outputted from the packet exchange type LAN connection part 4 and a sound control data DT to be transmitted to another communication station 17. On the other hand, an audio data processing part 22 processes an audio data DAR to be outputted from the line exchange type LAN connection part 15 and an audio data DAT to be transmitted to the other communication station 17. An encoding part 13 inputs a frame/token bit train F/TBA to be outputted from the packet exchange type LAN connection part 4 synchronously with a clock CKT and outputs it after encoding it to a symbol train SPT.
