Damper for housing bed or the like

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To enable a damper force to be exerted only at an optional angle both in normal and reverse rotations by specifying the position where the change in the clearance between the inner wall surface of a casing and the axial outer circumferential surface of a rotary blade is caused. CONSTITUTION:In the inside of a casing 1 in which a projection is provided on a part of its inner wall surface 1c, a rotary blade 4b whose axial outside diameter is smaller than the inside diameter of the casing 1 is arranged so as to be capable of being rotated in the normal or reverse direction by a prescribed angle, integrally with a turning shaft 4 being rotatable with a bed or the like; and to the projection partitioning the inside of the casing 1, a pair of passages which penetrate the projection so as to be capable of communicating the adjacent two chambers, provided with check valves for carrying out open/ close operation in mutually reverse directions and with flow-control valves for a high-viscosity fluid is provided. Thus, damper force can be separately regulated for the normal and reverse directions, so that the bed can be gradually and smoothly turned and housed.
