Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To provide an information recording medium which can effect a visual hiding of bar code satisfactorily by forming a relatively thin layer. CONSTITUTION:A base layer 2 is provided on a first side face thereof with a bar code 8 and a black hiding layer 10 for hiding the bar code and a white stenciled pattern layer 12 is formed on the hiding layer. The white pattern of the white stenciled pattern layer 12 forms such a distinct contrast with the black pattern of the black hiding layer 10 visible through the cuts of the stenciled pattern layer that such patterns are perceived with a powerfully vivid surface impression. Accordingly, even if the hiding layer 10 is relatively thin, the bar code 8 itself cannot be identified.
