Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To build-in a down-converter in a thin antenna reception section by sealing part of the circuit board on which circuit components for the down- converter are interconnected with a sealing member with a high dielectric constant. CONSTITUTION:Part or all of a circuit board 4 on which circuit components for the down-converter 2 are interconnected is sealed with a sealing member 14 with a high dielectric constant. Thus, the wavelength of a radio wave in space on the circuit board 4 is much reduced thereby reducing the space between the circuit board 4 and a ceiling face of an external case 6 of the down- converter 2 without giving adverse effect on the characteristic of the down- converter 2. Thus, the down-converter 2 is built-in a reception antenna section 1 of a thin thickness.
