Staple sorter

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To enable a bundle of papers on a bin to be bundled by making its corner part uniform by a method wherein respective bins engaged with one another by transferring in a paper discharge direction are moved in an upstream side direction of the paper discharge direction. CONSTITUTION:Paper unnecessary for sorting to be discharged from a copying machine body 70, after passing an inside of a sorter body part 20, is placed on a bin for non-sorting 12. Many flat plate like sorting bins 11 on which sorted paper is placed are disposed in an array vertically below the non-sorting bin 12. Each sorting bin 11 is of the same slant state as the non-sorting bin 12. Then, paper to be discharged on each sorting bin 11 is moved by its own weight along the slant of each sorting bin 11, and each paper is arranged properly along a paper discharge direction with a paper properly arranging part provided to an upstream part of a paper discharge side of each sorting bin 11. Thereby, bundles of paper on respective bins 11 can be bundled by making their corner parts uniform.
