Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To move an equipment main body close to a ceiling, so as to mount it by providing a cord fastening tool in a cord storing part, which is provided on the equipment main body, and the lower side of which is opened. CONSTITUTION:When an equipment main body 3 is vertically moved from the lower side thereof, the position thereof on a cord is determined. When a squeezing nut 7 is normally rotated by inserting a hand into a cord storing part 4 from the lower side, flexible tongue pieces 9, 9 of a cord inserting cylinder 6 are squeezed by a squeezing part 12, and a cord 1 is sandwiched between a thick parts 10 on the front end. When the cord is thus sandwiched, the main body 3 is fixed to the cord 1 at the position. When the squeezing nut 7 is rotated in reverse, the squeezing of the tongue pieces 9, 9 by the squeezing part 12 is cancelled, and the position of the main body 3 on the cord 1 can thus be varied as desired.
