Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To allow the adjustment of the height to keep a adjacent centrum from being cut by including an end wall with an opening for injection of bone cement the other end of first cylindrical body having an opening for fitting at one end thereof to make a speed of expansion adjustable in combination with a second cylindrical body so similar thereto a to be fitted thereinto through an opening for fitting. CONSTITUTION:An opening 10a for fitting is formed at one end of a first cylindrical body 10 to be fitted into a second cylindrical body 10' while an end wall 11 having an opening 11a for injection of bone cement at the other end thereof. The second cylindrical body 10' is formed in a size enough to slide being fitted into the opening 10a of the first cylindrical body 1 and the both are the same in shape (similar) but the size thereof alone is different. The respective cylindrical bodies 10 and 10' are provided with flange parts 11b and 11'b for joints as extensions of the end walls 11 and 11' and three through holes 11c and 11'c are formed being inclined to side of the cylindrical bodies 10 and 10' for a lock screw piercing them. Access openings 12a and 12'a are arranged on one side walls 12 and 12' of the cylindrical bodies 10 and 10' an female thread holes 14 and 14' are formed on the other side walls 13 and 13'.
