Rotary compressor

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To restrain heat transmission of discharge gas in the inside of a muffler part to be transmitted to a cylinder via a cover member by providing a heat insulating material between the muffler part covering the cover part and the cover part covering the cylinder. CONSTITUTION:The compressor part of a rotary compressor is at least provided with a cylinder 7 having a bore 6 therein, a cover part 9 for partitioning a compressor chamber 8 inside the cylinder while being positioned so as to close the opening of the bore 6, and a muffler part 14 fitted to the cover part 9 so as to cover a discharge hole 11 formed on the cover part 9 and communicat ed with the inside of a compressor 8. Between the muffler part 14 and the cover part 9 inside the muffler part 14, a heat insulator 17 made of synthetic resin excellent in oil and heat resistance is provide, whereby the heat transmis sion of discharge gas inside the muffler part 14 conveyed to the cylinder 7 through the cover part 9 is restrained.
