Hydrodynamic stretching method and device for synthetic fibers

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To draw a synthetic fiber at an optimum temperature in high uniformity and strength with elaborate yarn treatment by passing yarns through a liquid in the form of a ribbon composed of fiber group arranged essentially on one plane. CONSTITUTION: A synthetic fiber yarn composed of fiber bundle is drawn in a liquid drawing bath surrounding the yarn. The drawing is carried out by passing the yarn through the liquid in the form of a ribbon F of a fiber group parallelly arranged essentially on one plane. Preferably, the fiber group of the yarn to be drawn is arranged in the form of a fiber ribbon F placed essentially on one plane, the yarn is passed through the liquid in one plane with a moving direction deflecting device and the chamber liquid is maintained to a reduced pressure during the passage of the yarn.
