Anti-acarine thermoplastic resin composition

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain an anti-acarine thermoplastic resin composition capable of effectively maintaining the anti-acarine activity over a long period and suitable for domestic goods by using a thermoplastic resin, a specific compound and a hindered phenolic and/or aromatic phosphorus antioxidant as essential components. CONSTITUTION:The objective anti-acarine thermoplastic resin composition contains (A) 100 pts.wt. of a thermoplastic resin (preferably a propylene.ethylene block copolymer, etc., having an MFR of 0.1-100g/10min), (B) 0.1-10 pts.wt. (preferably 0.2-5 pts.wt.) of a compound of formula (R<1> is OH or 1-9C hydrocarbon group; R<2> is H or 1-30C hydrocarbon group; X is H or OH; n is 0-4) (preferably salicylic acid ester such as p-t-butylphenyl salicylate) as a miticidal component and (C) 0.001-1 pt.wt. (preferably 0.01-0.5 pts.wt.) of a hindered phenolic and, or aromatic phosphorus antioxidant.
