Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To control a management data from a location remote from the equipment by providing a means acquiring management data control information from a signal received through a communication line and a means applying the control to the management data in the inside of the equipment according to the management data control information acquired by the acquisition means. CONSTITUTION:Control information is acquired from a PB tone signal or a mark sheet picture information signal and written in a control information storage section 10, then a management data control section 9 checks whether or not the control information is management data control information. In the case of the management data control information, an access right detection section 8 checks an access level described in the control information to discriminate the propriety of the access to the management data. When the access to the management data is possible, the management data control section 9 checks the propriety between the control object data item and the data described in the management data control information. When the data item is normal, the management data control section 9 executes the processing of a designated control (addition, revision or delete) to the management data in the management data storage section 2.
