Power window device

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain the flash surfacing of window glass in all-closed state by a method in which a moving device is provided, and at the all-closing position of window glass, the lower end of the window glass is moved toward the widthwise outside of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION:Racks 22 are set along the opening and closing directions of the window glass 14 of a vehicle, and a pinion gear 50 to be engaged with the racks 22 and also to be connected with a motor 34 is provided. The pinion gear 50 is turned to open, close, and move the glass 14 along the rack 22 with the motor 34. In such a mechanism, a moving means is provided to move the lower end of the glass 14 to the widthwise outside of vehicle on all-closing position of the glass 14. The step between the outer surface of the glass 14 and the outer surface of the door outer panel in the all-closed state can thus be reduced.
