Comprehensive construction management method

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To make overall management of construction work in a site extending over a wide area feasible by making computer control on measured data obtained by combination of a measurement method with radio waves from a artificial satellite and a three-dimensional measurement method with transits equipped with TV cameras. CONSTITUTION:Two receiving sets B1 and B2 are installed to measuring points A1 and A2 on both ends of a artificial base-line L to be measured, and radio wave from a satellite C is received therewith, and direction and distance be tween the receiving sets B1 and B2 are observed by measuring the difference of time in arrival of the radio waves to both of the receiving sets. Two transits 10 equipped with TV cameras are installed in a work site and surveys are made for the work site and image data and numerical data attained therefrom are inputted into a computer and three dimensional measurement is made there with. A balloon D is made afloat over the work site for relaying by radio wave, and the measured data are relayed therethrough to a central control room and are collected there for overall control of the work. Thereby real-time measurement of a work site extending over a wide area can be made feasible, and speedy and appropriate management of work can be made possible too.
