Headrest control system and headrest control device

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To enhance safety by letting a head rest be housed in through the continuous actuation of a auto-switch effected at least 2 times toward the housing direction within the specified period of time, and thereby restoring the head rest to a support position through one time actuation of the switch to the restoring direction. CONSTITUTION:The control process unit 16 of a head rest control device 10 drives a lifting motor 20 and a rocking motor 18 through the actuation of a manual switch 14 or an auto-switch 12 or by the signals from contacts 52a through 52c for rocking positions set in advance so that the head rest is thereby moved to a housing position or a specified support position. In the actuation of the auto-switch 12, the head rest is housed in only when the switch is continuously actuated at least 2 times to the housing direction within the specified period of time set in advance so that the safety of one who is seated can thereby be secured against careless or erroneous actuation. On the other hand, when the switch is actuated one time to the restoring direction, the head rest is restored to the support position. By this constitution, the safety of one who is seated can thereby be improved.
