Waterproofing material for electric connector
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To insert electric cables and keep them from water and make a work easy by forming small holes in tubular parts and forming hollow parts to allow the tubular parts to expand between the outer side of a tubular part and a main body of the water proofing material. CONSTITUTION:A through hole 13 is comprised of a hole 14 with a large cross section surface area occupying from the first plane 11 to the middle part of the depth of the hole and a hole 15 with a small cross section surface area from the middle part to the second plane 12. The small hole 15 is partly formed in the tubular part 16 and a hollow part of a groove 17 is formed in the tubular part 16 and a main body of a waterproofing material 10. When an electric cable passes the tubular part 16, the tubular part 16 moves with being declining based on the connection part with the large hole 14 toward the electric cable, and even if an electric cable is inserted with being declining, it poses following to the cable declination. In this way, efficiency of insertion work of electric cable is improved and waterproofness between the electric cable and the tubular part 16 is kept.
