Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To make it possible to remotely communicate among systems connected to a small computer system interface(SCSI) bus by connecting a link converting the data into series bits and the link converting a bit line into data for a system target device. CONSTITUTION: The data from a system initiator device through an SCSI bus 12 are converted into the series bit by the link 18. Then, the series bit line is converted into the data for the system target device by the link 18' connected to a transmission means 18 connected to the link 18 to be transmitted to the system target device through the SCSI bus 12'. By such a constitution, the excellent remote communication is performed between systems by the transparent communication making feel no partner SCSI bus. Further, the reverse direction communication is performed similarly.
