Language translation service system

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To reduce a charge for using by connecting a specified backup device to a language translation device connected to a subscriber data processing device through an exchange network. CONSTITUTION:The subscriber data processing device 1 and a subscriber's telephone set terminal 3 are connected to the exchange network 5 through a switcher 2, and the language translation device 6 and a repeating device 9 are connected to the network 5, and the backup device 7 provided with a dictionary updating device 8 is connected to the device 6. Then, the device 7 is provided with a common dictionary, a professional dictionary and a user dictionary for a specified subscriber so as to make the backup of the device 6 at the time of its fault possible, and simultaneously, only the dictionary of a field required by the device 6 is transferred so as the realize economization.
