Method and device for editing data

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To easily perform the editing of a presentation position and presentation time on a screen visually by expressing the presentation position and the presentation time stereographically and visually on the picture of each medium data, performing the movement, magnification, and compression operations of each solid on a screen, and designating the presentation position and a presentation timing. CONSTITUTION:When an edit start instruction and the node name of each medium data are inputted to an input control part 17, a display change control part 110 reads out node information from a medium data managing art 11, and sends presentation layout information to a solid generating part 13, and sends the time and spatial coordinate of each apex of a generated stereo graphic to a coordinate transforming part 14, and sends a transformed plotting coordinate to a solid display part 15, then, it is displayed on the screen. The presentation position and the presentation time on the picture of each medium data are expressed stereographically and visually, and the movement, magnification, and compression operations are performed on each solid on the screen, and the presentation position and the presentation timing are designated. In such a way, the editing of the presentation position and the presentation time of the screen can be easily performed visually.
