Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To thin and read out data in which the output address value of a counter is specified by controlling the output of the carry-out of a counter which forms a row address counter with the output of a thinning decoder. CONSTITUTION:The carry-in terminal of the counter which forms the row address counter by the thinning decoder 10 to decode a thinning address is connected to a power source by switches 16-19 provided between the counter, and it is set at an H level. Therefore, the carry output of shift registers of N stages go to the H levels, and when they are inputted to the enable of the counter 4, the counter can be set in a count execution state without depending on the carry-out output of the counter of preceding stage. As a result, it is possible to set the output address value of the counter 4 at 2<n> based on the number of carry-in terminals connected to the H levels. In such a way, it is possible to thin and read out stored data.
