Control system when program translation error occurs

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To efficiently execute the correction work of a source program by automatically displaying an error message screen and the editing screen of a source file where an error occurs on a display screen when correction is executed. CONSTITUTION:A program information file which previously stores information on the module constitution of the program and an operation environment file storing a translation method and the like are provided for an external storage device 5. The translation of the source program is executed. When the translation error occurs while the program is translated, it is displayed in the display screen 3 whether the correction of the source program is executed or not by interrupting translation. When correction is executed, the error message screen and the editing screen of the source file where the error occurs are automatically displayed in the display screen 3. Consequently, correction is executed while the display screen 3 is viewed. Thus, the efficiency of source program correction work is improved.
