Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To secure sufficiently high accumulator pressure even at the abnormal time of a pressure sensor for pressure accumulation by allowing pressure accumulation control based on the output signal of a pressure sensor for abnormality determination when the pressure sensor for pressure accumulation is abnormal. CONSTITUTION:An accumulator 64 is equipped with a pressure switch 210 as a pressure sensor for pressure accumulation and a pressure switch 212 as a pressure sensor for abnormality determination, and pressure accumulation control based on the output signal of the switch 212 is performed at the sensor abnormality time when the switch 210 is abnormal. Further, a control device 65 controls an alarm buzzar 220 and an alarm lamp 222 based on the output signal of the switch 212. Since pressure accumulation control utilizing the switch 212 for abnormality determination is performed even the switch 210 indicates abnormality in this way, and accumulator pressure is controlled at the same level as that of normal time, and a booster 10 is made capable of performing the same boosting action as normal time even if the switch 210 indicates abnormality.
