Radio selective call receiver

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To attain simple check by providing a 1st ID memory storing an individual selective call number different from each receiver and a 2nd ID memory storing a selective call number for check. CONSTITUTION:As ID memories, a 1st ID-ROM 30 comprising an OTP (a ROM possible for write only once) and an EEPROM as a 1st ID memory and a 2nd ID-ROM 24a comprising a ROM disable of rewrite as a 2nd ID memory storing a selective call number for checking are employed. Thus, before an individual selective call number is written in the 1st ID-ROM 30, check is applied by using a selective call number for check stored in the 2nd ID-ROM 24a. Thus, it is not required to replace the ID memory or rewrite the ID memory, and simple check is attained.
