Radio paging receiver wtih alarm control function

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To form an alarm which gives less unpleasant feeling to a user by automatically selecting an alarm mode, and using such a mode as a specific alarm mode at a time zone set by the user. CONSTITUTION:When a power source switch is turned on, it is judged whether or not a message is fetched in a CPU 6 at a time when the lever of a switch in an alarm mode change-over switch 14 selects a silent mode. When it is fetched, an alarm operation based on the message memorized in the silent mode is performed. When it is not fetched, a reception operation is performed, and a decoder 4 reads a signal from a waveform formation circuit 3 with a command from the CPU 6, and it is store in the memory of the CPU 6. And its own call number is compared with the signal from the circuit 3, and it is judged that a call is placed when coincidence is obtained, and it is decided whether or not an automatic mode switch is set at an automatic mode, and the specific alarm mode by the call of current time is set when the automatic mode is selected.
