Microstrip antenna
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To facilitate the manufacture and to stabilize antenna characteristics against outside temperature variation by short-circuiting a radiation conductor and a ground conductor at a position different from a short-circuited side. CONSTITUTION:A short-circuiting means 8 short-circuits one side of the radiation conductor 1 contiguous to the short-circuiting piece 7 to the ground conductor. The same through hole as the short-circuited side 7, a copper plate, etc., are only formed as the means 8; and a short-circuiting plate may be connected directly to the short-circuiting piece 7 or short-circuited by arranging a short- circuiting pin at a point slightly distant from the short-circuit piece 7. Consequently, the microstrip antenna which facilitates the determination of the position of a feed point and has its antenna characteristics under a little influence of temperature variation is obtained.
