Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To maintain air conditioning environment in which a person in a room feels comfortable by a method wherein various environment conditions in a room are detected, and by fuzzy inference using the detecting value, an output from an air conditioner is regulated so that the feeling temperature of a person in a room is kept at a given value. CONSTITUTION:An input device 2 collects information on various environment conditions in a room, e.g. a room temperature, an atmospheric temperature, the magnitude of the sunlight, weather, humidity, a time zone, the area of a room, the presence of a man, an active mass of a man, and the position of a man, by which an influence is exercised on a feeling temperature. The input device outputs the information to a fuzzy inference device 3. From the inputted information, the fuzzy inference device 3 effects inference, and an output amount of each mechanism part of an air conditioner is calculated so that the feeling temperature of a person in a room is kept at a specified value to send a result to an output device 4. A blast temperature, an airflow, an air direction, humidity, and an open air ratio are listed as an air amount being regulatable by the output mechanism of the air conditioner. Based on an inputted output amount, the output device 4 regulates and varies the output mechanism of an air conditioner 1. This constitution enables realization of comfortable air conditioning through which the feeling temperature of a person in a room is kept at a specified value.
