Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To surely inform the operating state of a bridge device by displaying reception at the reception of a communication data, sending the communication data to other network when the received communication data is able to be relayed and displaying the end of relay, and aborting the communication data when the relay is disabled and displaying the end of abort. CONSTITUTION:When a frame is sent from a network and received by reception circuits 15a, 15b in a bridge 7, a control circuit 13 outputs a control signal to a multivibrator 21a to light an LED 23a. when the frame is received and stored in buffers 17a, 17b, the control circuit 13 collates a frame destination address with an address registered in advance in a table and when the both are coincident, the frame stored in the buffers 17a, 17b is sent to the network of the destination address, outputs a control signal to a multivibrator circuit 21b to light an LED 23b. When dissident, the frame stored in the buffers 17a, 17b is aborted and a control signal is outputted to a multivibrator circuit 21c to light an LED 23c.
