Spot weldable adhering clad metal plate
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To perform a spot welding by allowing a metal plate to adhere with adhesive in which carbon is added. CONSTITUTION:When a stainless steel thin plate 2, for example, adheres to a steel plate 1 which becomes a base material, a plastic resin adhesive, a thermally curable resin adhesive or a rubber adhesive is employed as an adhesive 3, and as much carbon powder as possible is mixed in the adhesive in a range that adhering strength is not deteriorated. In this case, it is desired to use a filmlike hotmelt adhesive to make the thickness of an adhesive layer thin and uniform. This adhesive clad steel plate is superposed and when a current conduction is started to perform a spot welding, heat is generated from the adhesive layer 3, oxygen content in the adhesive is reacted with the carbon to generate carbon monoxide gas. Since this gas reduces oxide presented on the surfaces of the plates 1 and 2 to be cleaned, the plate 1 can be effectively welded to the plate 2.
