Drug containing interferone and 1-desoxy- pyperidinose in combination, and its production and use

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To obtain an antiviral medicinal agent which contains a combination of interferon with 1-desoxy-piperidinose and reveals very good synergistic action against retrovirus. CONSTITUTION: This medicinal preparation contains a combination of interferon with a compound of the formula (one of R and R' is OH and the other is H; (n) is an integer of 2-6; R<1> is H, a 1-3C straight or branched chain alkyl, benzyl; R<2> is a 6-10 aryl which may have 1-4 substituents such as a halogen, a 1-8C straight or branched chain-which may be substituted with aryl or the like, a 3-7C cycloalkyl, or a 5-6-membered ring of NR<1> R<2> which may be intervened by O or NR<4> or may be substituted with a 1-4C alkyl; R<4> is a 6-10C aryl, a 1-6C alkoxycarbonyl, pyridyl). Particularly, this antiviral agent acts on human immunodeficiency virus(HIV) and syndrome relating to AIDS (ARC).
