Curable composition
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a curable composition which has a high rate of curing, especially, when being heated and can give a cured product of improved properties by mixing a silylated compound with an organic amine or a silane coupling agent and various coating agents or an organopolysiloxane. CONSTITUTION:This curable composition is obtained by mixing at least one member (A) selected from among a polyester, a vinyl polymer and a diallyl phthalate copolymer each having a silyl group of formula I (wherein R<1> and R<2> are each H, a 1-10C alkyl, an aryl or an aralkyl; X is an alkoxy, a phenoxy, OH, NH2 or the like; and a is 0-2) with a catalytic amount of an organic amine and/or a silane coupling agent (B) of formula II (wherein R<3> is a 1-10C alkyl, an aryl or an aralkyl; Y is a halogen atom, an alkoxy or an acyloxy; Z is a monovalent hydrocarbon group containing a functional group; and b is 0-2) and a coating agent (C) of a lacquer, acrylic lacquer or acrylic resin type or a thermosetting acrylic, alkyd, melamine or epoxy type. This composition can be easily cured with moisture in air at room temperature or by heating.
