Transmission path switch
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To improve the noise immunity by allowing each amplifier means to send a signal with a gain in excess of the unity and causing a high impedance at a connecting point of the amplifier means in relation to a length of an input line. CONSTITUTION: Optimum transmission of a required signal to an output line 3 having a maximum isolation between input lines 1, 2 is attained by placing the input line at a connecting point 4 so as to provide a very high impedance with respect to the required signal. That is, a low output impedance realized by an element 9" set to an OFF state is converted into a high impedance at the connecting point by selecting a proper length L of the input line 2 between an output of an amplifier stage 10" and the connecting point 4. In the case that the length L of the line is selected properly, the required signal at the connecting point 4 follows a low impedance path being the output line 3 with priority and then the signal 'loss' in the input line 2 is minimized. Thus, the noise immunity is improved.
