Acrylic macromonomer having polyethyleneimine derivative chain, its production, graft polymer having polyethyleneimine derivative chain as graft chain and its production
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain the subject monomer which can give a surfaceactive polymer and is useful for the production of a surfactant, etc., by reacting a specified 2-oxazoline derivative with a (meth)acrylic acid (derivative) in the presence of a base. CONSTITUTION:A 2-oxazoline compound is subjected to living polymerization by using a cationic polymerization initiator, and the living terminal is reacted with a nucleophilic reagent to produce a compound of formula I (wherein R2 is H, an alkyl, ak aryl or the like; R3 is H, an alkyl or the like; Y is OH or NHR4; R4 is H, an alkyl or an aryl; and n is 1-1000). A compound of formula I is reacted with a (meth)acrylic acid (derivative) in the presence of a base to obtain the title acrylic macromonomer of formula II (wherein R1 is H or CH3; and X is O or NR4). A graft polymer of this macromonomer has a specific surface activity.
