Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To synthesize human lysozyme gene by separating a phage containing the objective gene, sectioning the objective gene from the phage and cloning the gene with a proper plasmid. CONSTITUTION:A human lysozyme genome DNA is cloned from a human gene library e.g. by plaque hydridization using a probe consisting of a human lysozyme cDNA or an oligonucleotide chemically synthesized according to the amino acid sequence of human lysozyme. The DNA containing the cloned human lysozyme genome DNA is used as it is or after digesting with a restriction enzyme for the preparation of a transformed animal or formation of a human lysozyme secretion plasmid for animal cell.
