Chair with seat-back
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To keep the position of a seat-back point in an ideal position and prevent a wearing shirts, etc., from being hitched up by allowing the curved portion of a band-like body connecting the tilting base portion of a seat-back portion to the rear of a seat portion to be projected out forward in accordance with the tilting of the seat-back portion. CONSTITUTION:A band-like body 71 is formed by utilizing a part of an inner shell 4, by means of two slit type open hole portions 72 provided ranging from nearly the center portion to lower portion of a seat-back portion. A curved portion 75 which is a little projected out forward is formed on this band-like body 71 being directed downward from the linking portion between the band-like body 71 and the vicinity of the tilting base portion of the seat-back portion. When a person rests deeply on the seat-back portion, the weight acts on an outer shell 3 in the expanding direction while acting on the inner shell 4 in the compressing direction to project out a part of the lower portion of the curved portion 75, causing the position of a seat-back point to be moved downward along the curved portion. Hence, the ideal position of the seat-back point in which it is adjusted can be maintained even after tilting the seat-back portion, while also preventing a wearing shirt, etc., from being hitched up.
