Color correction device

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To save the capacity of a read only memory by allowing a storage means to output a color data for each color being the result of multiplying a proper correction coefficient with a sent color data and allowing the post stage to add said data for each color. CONSTITUTION:Storage means (read only memories) 1-3 are provided for each color of one picture element, which produce color data multiplied with a coefficient while the color data and a signal from a timing signal generating means (timing circuit) 4 dividing one picture element period of a picture element string into a number of colors constituting at least one picture element are used as an address. Then data from the storage means 1-3 are added to form corrected color data. Thus, the number of addresses applied to the storage means 1-3 is less and the storage capacity of the storage means 1-3 is decreased.
