Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To shorten the transmission time of telegram originals over plural pages by adding the boundary of pages in picture information without transmitting communication control signals in the page boundary. CONSTITUTION:A telegram message reading part 1 outputting the picture signals 1a of the having read telegram originals and page termination signals 1b showing the trailing end of the page, a page boundary generation device 2 outputting boundary picture signals 2a printing the boundary of the page by the page termination signals 1b from the telegram reading part 1, an encoder 3 encoding and outputting the picture signals 1a and the boundary picture signals 2a and a communication control part 4 which stops the transmission of multi page signals(MPS) between the telegram originals, modulates outputs from the encoder 3 and transmits them to a line are given. Consequently, the transmission and reception of communication control procedure signals is eliminated between picture information in a first page and in a second page, and picture information 7 in the first and second pages can continuously be transmitted. Thus, the total communication time can be shortened.
