Silver halide photographic sensitive material having high contrast

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain the title material having a good preservability and an excellent image quality of a dot point, even in the case of a rapid development processing by incorporating at least one kind of specified three kinds of compds. and a latex polymer in the silver halide emulsion contd. in the photosensitive material. CONSTITUTION:At least one kind of the compds. shown by formulas I, II and III, and the latex polymer are incorporated in a hydrophilic colloid layer comprising the silver halide emulsion. In formula I, R1 and R2 are each aryl group, R is an org. binding group, (n) is 0-6, (m) is 0 or 1. In formula II, R21 is an aliphatic or an aromatic group, R22 is hydrogen atom or alkoxy group, P1 and P2 are each hydrogen atom or acyl group. In formula III, Ar is an anti- dispersible group, R31 is a substd. alkyl group. And, the photosensitive material having the good preservability and capable of forming a dot picture having a high contrast in the case of developing the material with a developer capable of rapidly processing, it obtd. by applying the emulsion layer on a supporting body.
