Canvas top for car

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent the interference of a canvas member with a car body by guiding the canvas member between a roof position and the lower side position of a window glass by a guide means while it is separated from the car body. CONSTITUTION:When a ceiling part is opened, link members 35a, 35b are moved rearward along guide rails by a driving device, a canvas member 4 is gradually folded. When the link members are further moved rearward, the link members 35a, 35b are erected by making a rear end part a support point and link members 52a, 52b are oscillated rightward by making the lower part of a rear window glass a support point. Accordingly, the canvas member 4 folded and maintained between the end part of the link member 35 and the end part of the link member 52 is rotated downward while it is separated from a car body 51 with its horizontal state maintained and housed in the rear part of the rear window glass 8. Thus, an interference between the canvas member and the car body can be prevented.
