Ink jet sheet

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To print with aqueous ink, to prevent wrinkle from occurring, and to improve durability of an ink jet sheet by laminating an ink absorbed and coating layer on an aluminum layer. CONSTITUTION:An ink jet sheet 11 is composed of an aluminum layer 12, and an ink absorbed and coating layer 13 laminated on the layer 12. The layer 12 is made by forming pure aluminum or aluminum alloy in thickness of approx. 0.05-0.5mm, and the layer 13 is made by mixing binder with filler such as silica, synthetic silicate. Printing on the sheet 1 is conducted by injecting ink I from an ink jet head to the layer 13 to impregnate the layer 13 with the ink I. The printed sheet 11 is inserted between a pair of pressing rollers 15 and 15, and a protective film made of polyethylene or the like is laminated on the layer 13.
