Falling preventing device for cable connector

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent the relative falling of a plug and a plug receiver by rotating a latch provided in at least either of the plug or the plug receiver in the mutually approaching direction by the force of a spring, and engaging a hook with an engaging channel provided in the other. CONSTITUTION:On the front ends of the oscillating pieces 29 of latches 26, hooks 30 corresponding to the engaging channels 6 of a plug receiver 1 which are protruded slightly ahead of a case 22 and faced to each other are protruded. When a plug 21 is connected to the plug receiver 1, the oscillating pieces 29 of the latches 26 in the plug 21 are pushed open against a spring 32 by the angle parts of the rear edge both ends of a fixture 5 in the plug receiver 1, and each hook 30 is engaged with the engaging channel 6 over the both angle parts of the fixture 5. Hence, the falling of the plug 21 can be prevented.
