Method for checking communication abnormality

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To easily detect the abnormality of a line by successively sending a test signal inherent in each secondary station from a primary station to plural secondary stations connected to the primary station in a ring and causing each secondary station to detect a self-station destination signal and to send a response signal. CONSTITUTION:To a primary station 6 to execute the transmission of data and the supervision of the whole, plural secondary stations 11a-11d are connected through a communication line 12 in a ring in series, and the data are sent in directions indicated by arrows. To the secondary stations 11a-11d, circuits to inform that specific signals are received to respective stations when they are received are provided. The primary station 6 successively sends the test signals inherent in respective secondary stations 11a-11d and detects informing signals from respective secondary stations. Thus, by monitoring an information result from the secondary station, the point of the secondary station to have the abnormality in a ring line can be easily found out.
