Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To preserve secrecy and to facilitate the collection, processing and retrieve of the history of transmission/reception by constituting a facsimile data accumulation/ reproduction controller so that erasable information memory carrier may be detachably loaded, and transmitted/received facsimile data may be recorded on the memory carrier. CONSTITUTION:An accumulation/reproduction controller 20 is equipped with a data accumulating/reproducing part 22 to store the facsimile data into the rewritable and removable information memory carrier at large capacity such as an optical magnetic disk. When transmission information and picture information stored into the disk are transmitted to the other station, by setting the disk where the transmission information and the picture information are stored beforehand at the accumulating/reproducing part 22, and pushing the transmission button of an operating part 26, the information is sent through an interface 21 to a communication line, and a facsimile terminal main body 10 is unnecessary to be operated or an original is unnecessary to be inserted. when the picture information is a character image, it is converted into a bit image by a character generator 27, and it is sent through an interface 21 to the transmission line without passing through a reader. Thus, the control, processing and retrieve of the facsimile data can be facilitated.
