Monolithic microwave integrated circuit

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To absorb a microwave leaking out and to prevent the generation of a reflected wave by a method wherein a inductor is formed on a substrate formed from a ferrite film layer or the inductor is formed on the substrate and the ferrite film layer is formed on this. CONSTITUTION:An inductor 5 is formed on a substrate formed form a ferrite film layer 12 or the inductor 5 is formed on the substrate and the layer 12 is formed on this and is connected with a capacitor 6 to constitute a bias circuit part. In this constitution, as ferrite is a magnetic material, the inductor 5 on or under the layer 12 has a big loss. Therefore, a microwave to pass through the bias circuit part is absorbed when passing through the layer 12 and is not reflected to a microwave circuit part: the bias circuit part can be used as a microwave blocking circuit.
