Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To suppress the effect onto an antenna characteristic due to the insertion of a variable shifter by placing the variable phase shifter at a position except a local signal input line of a mixing circuit, a transmission signal input line of the mixing circuit or a reception signal output line or the like. CONSTITUTION:Plural microwave integrated circuits 2 each having a reception antenna are provided, in which an incoming radio wave 1 is subject to reception processing. A variable phase shifter 14 is placed in a phase locked loop of a phase locked loop local oscillating circuit comprising the variable phase shifter 14 and a phase comparator 15, or between the phase locked loop local oscillating circuit and a reference signal input terminal 17, that is, in a location except a transmission/reception signal line of an antenna element 11 and a local signal line. Thus, the effect onto the antenna characteristic due to the insertion of the variable phase shifter 14 is suppressed and an excellent characteristic is obtained even when the inexpensive variable phase shifter 14 is in use.
