Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent a gasket from breading by installing each ceramic fiber sheet, containing ceramic grains in a nonwoven fabric sheet consisting of a ceramic fiber so as to be high content on the one side low content on the other side respectively in an unevenly dispersed state, at both sides of a metal base after turning the high content side to the outside. CONSTITUTION:Each ceramic fiber sheet 1 is installed at both sides of a metal base 2, and the ceramic fiber sheet 1 is composed of such one containing ceramic grains 12 in a nonwoven fabric sheet consisting of ceramic fibers 11 in an unevenly dispersed state. The ceramic fiber sheets 1 installed at both sides of the metal base 2 are installed so as to cause a high content of the ceramic grains 12 to be turned to the outside. Each of the ceramic fiber sheet is the higher in content of the ceramic grains, the better in the viewpoint of slidability. Formation of the ceramic fiber sheet is performed by a method which spreads a liquid, having the ceramic fibers and the ceramic grains dispersed, on a filterable mount consisting of felt or the like and removes a dispersant from it.
