Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To achieve a sufficient destaticizing effect by increasing the light quantity of a laser beam when it is led to an exposing part than when it is led to a destaticizing part. CONSTITUTION:An image forming device deflects and projects laser beams emitted from a laser source 7 alternately on the exposing part 13 and the destaticizing part 14 on a photosensitive body 1, and records images of a computer, facsimile equipment, word processor, etc. This device is provided with means 8 to 12 intensifying beams in destaticization rather than in exposure, so that the appropriate intensity can be available in both cases. Consequently, the destaticizing part can obtain a sufficient destaticizing effect, while the exposing part can obtain the proper contrast between an image area and a non-image area.
