Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To accurately back up required section hardware modules with a battery by dividing hardware modules of a power supply system by respective feed sections and providing backup request flags. CONSTITUTION:When the voltage of a system power line 3 is reduced to a value lower than a prescribed value on condition that a backup request flag 12 corresponding to a main storage 15 is set, the signal of a power monitor part 4 is outputted to a power supply control part 7. A control part 7 receives this signal and refers to the flag 12 to output a battery backup signal 9 corresponding to the main storage. Thus, required minimum hardware modules like the main storage 15, a main storage control part 17, or the control part 7 are backed up by a battery 5 though the voltage of the system power line 3 is reduced.
