Electric equipment with auxiliary battery

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To make a circuit between external power supply and an auxiliary battery unnecessary by connecting a main battery to external power supply in series, connecting the main battery with the auxiliary battery in series, and charging the auxiliary battery from the main battery. CONSTITUTION:After transforming external power supply 1 by a transformer 2, it is rectified by a diode 3 to supply a load 6. A main battery 4 is connected to a cathode side of the diode 3 to charge a rectifier current. A switch 5 makes opening and closing between the main battery 4 and the load 6, and, at the same time, the opening and closing between the main battery and an auxiliary battery 7 is made engagedly. Accordingly, when the switch 5 is closed, power is supplied to the load 6 from the main battery 4, and, at the same time, the main battery 4 charges the auxiliary battery 7. In such a state that the switch 5 is turned OFF, a switch 9 is closed, and the load 6 can be driven by the auxiliary battery 7.
