Abstract

Abstract NEW MATERIAL: Compound of formulas I-III {A is 8,11- oxopentacyclo[5.4.0.0 2.6 .0 3.10 .0 5.9 ]undecane capable of having at least one substituent (alkyl, aryl, OH, keto, NH 2 ); R, R', R" are H, unsabstituted/ substituted aromatic or unbranched/branched alkyl, which can have substituent (aryl, OH, haloqen), R (alkyl) in formula III is ≥2C} and its acid-added salt. EXAMPLE: 8-n-Octylamino-8, 11-oxopentacyclo [5.4.0.0 2.6 .0 3.10 0 5.9 ]undecane. USE: Calcium antagonist, antihypertensive. PROCESS: Parent diketone is converted into hydroxyl amine in tetrahydrofuran by amine suitable to a cold place, and it is refluxed in benzene to be hydrated into imonoamine in mild conditions. It is reduced into aminoether by a selective reducing agent to obtain compounds of formulas I-III. COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO
